I love this post. I suppose some dreams are pie in the sky dreams and a whole other way we think we can reach the perfect high. There are miracles in the everyday that we take for granted. I read Mark’s blog too, very profound, as you say, but your are as well. <3

I can relate to this so much. I used to be so unhappy that I wasn’t doing or being more.
Even when I was teaching little ones all day, I’d be so angry with myself that I wasn’t living a bigger life.
Now, I am so much happier walking with my darling hubs, keeping the house clean, going to yoga, and volunteering a little bit.

Alan! I can relate to this so closely. I’ve also found a new rewards system for my clean and sober life. I like the word “contentedness” to describe the sort of reward we get for that mundane stuff. It’s not ecstasy, or misery. Just middle ground happiness.

I’m so lucky to have you on this journey brother. Keep spinning the records, and spitting the truth on here.

Spitting and spinning… I like that image. It’s a promise Mark. Good to share the journey with you too.

Thank you very much for your comment. My posts tend to vary in length, depending on the content and what I wish to say. I try not to fit into a prescriptive length as this would be too restrictive.
