  • A Prayer of Tranquility

    A Prayer of Tranquility

Sense of Unity and Tranquility When I was fifteen and in the throes of my compulsive eating addiction and bulimia I was staying at a friend’s house for the weekend. Sitting in the TV room one morning alone, I observed her mother coming out of the kitchen with a tea tray and placed it on […]

  • Training your Soul to Lust

    Training your Soul to Lust

It’s been a few months since I started dating again with much fear and trepidation and I have written a couple of blogs around that process starting with a Rock Called Insecurity. Now after meeting a rather intriguing man and seeing him for a couple of months, I can safely say I am in a […]

    Walking in the Dark

The work I do as a counselor is to assist my clients in becoming more self-aware. To do this, I have had to go through that process myself so I know how difficult it is for someone to take a good hard look at themselves. Day by Day When I am sitting opposite an addict […]

About Me

About Me

Hi, my name is Kim welcome to my website. N.K. Wilson is my author name.

It's not easy to talk about the tough issues associated with recovery whether it be alcohol and drugs, sex addiction or eating disorders to name a few - so I write about them as clearly and honestly as I can from my own experience.
This includes some compelling stories of a spiritual nature too.

I live in a little fishing village on the north-east coast of Scotland where I write and plot adventures. I am passionate about supporting others in recovery from addiction and you can continue to follow my journey of encouraging others by subscribing to my blog and follow me on Facebook and Twitter.
